  • Right!

This defect was originally reported on 17th December 2025 and was first inspected on 19th December and accepted as a priority 3 defect with a timeframe for repairs given as within 28 days and on average within 12 days.

We are now on 31st January and the defects (multiple potholes on this sharp fast dangerous bend) not only remain but they are now incredibly large and deep and a serious threat to life.

I can see on 19th January the defect was change to to be rescheduled but no explanation given as to why and then on 20th January an update stated the defect repair had been scheduled but with no timeframe given this time around.

The defect(s) on this corner are now so severe that they are a priority 1 defect.... can you please advise of when a full permanent repair will be carried out and also provide a full thorough explanation of how the horrendous and unacceptable mismanagement of this FMS report has been allowed to occur.

I will be bringing this up with the WNC Ward Councillors for Rural South Northamptonshire Ward along with Cllr Richard Butler and Cllr Mark Arnull and Sarah Bool MP.

As part of an ongoing complaint into the horrendous condition and unacceptable maintenance of the roads I may well submit a FOI request against the specific FMS report asking which WNC employees and external contractors have been involved in its handling so that they can be held personally accountable

YOU MUST DO BETTER WNC & WNH!!!
