A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

• There are two potholes in this area between the junction of The Knob and the left turn at Orchard Way, both on the north side of the road. The area is poorly lit by streetlights, so the holes are not easily seen in the dark. I have twice cycled through one or other in the dark. Whilst they may present a minor hazard to cars, they are a major hazard to cyclists. Urgent repair is needed.

  These 2 potholes have worsened with the bad weather, surface has ‘ exploded ‘ so they are bigger and deeper

• The reports refer to two potholes. There are two larger ones on either side of the road. But there is a further smaller pothole on the north (east-bound) side of the road. This is also a hazard to cyclists in particular, and needs to be repaired at the same time.
