Huge deep pot hole near a drain. Road cracking around it
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8618604.
This pothole has been here a few months It’s at the side of the road and is very deep I have nearly damaged by car wheels in it. It’s getting bigger and the road all around it has cracked since it was first reported. The road is sinking around it and it’s extremely near a drain so hope it will not cause a problem here. It’s a real danger to cyclists, scooter users, pedestrians and vehicles due to its location being in their direct line of travel. This road is extremely busy, is a bus route and has regular HGV’S coming along it to the shops. This vehicles are really heavy and could make it worst in a short period of time.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 2 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 7 days.
