Sub-surface collapse

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:28, Tuesday 6 January 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8634771.

The surface at the junction of Farnborough Drive & Newnham Drive is collapsing, leading to extreme undulations at the junction. This is so severe that it can lead to vehicles bottoming out / grounding if negotiated wrong. There looks to be a sewer / manhole cover present at the center of this, which may also be a contributing factor.
