There are multiple deep potholes that were reported last January but they have only got bigger
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:59, Tuesday 6 January 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8637484.
As above, the whole road needs resurfacing, the potholes have only got deeper and in worse condition since they were reported last January. The drain at the top of the road is blocked and regularly flows down the road, causing all previous patches to blow in no time at all.

I gather from your response to my duplicate report, that this matter is expected to be resolved by 26 March this year. Thank you for confirming the works order and expected completion date.
May I ask whether the inspection included assessment of the blocked drain along this stretch? Standing water appears to be contributing significantly to the deterioration of the surface.
If the drainage issue is not addressed, previous patch repairs have deteriorated very quickly.
I would be grateful if this could be considered as part of the scheduled works.
