There is a broken paving slab and a damaged water drainage channel across the footpath in front of 18 Ethel Street, NN1 5ES. Due to this issue, water is penetrating into the underground cellar, which becomes repeatedly flooded during heavy rainfall. I kindly request that this issue be resolved as a matter of urgency.

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, this defect does not meet the investigatory levels for a repair. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us by raising a new FixMyStreet enquiry. We can confirm that the Water channel is down to the Property Owner to maintain, this does not fall within the responsibility of West Northamptonshire Highways.
