Blocked drainage on cycle path

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8660897.

There is a blocked pipe causing water to seep up through the road. This is causing surface damage, flooding and the path is almost impassible when weather is cold as completely iced over. This is a health and safety issue and caused me to slip whilst walking even though i was taking extra care. This pipe needs to be fixed to stop the water seeping through the road and causing issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

  • I am also reporting on the same problem on Houghton Hill. There is water coming out through the tarmac and virtually the whole of the lane is covered with thick ice. This is a very busy cycle track/pathway to Brackmills, which is used by workers as well as local walkers
