Investigating
The signage which is supposed to be in place for the road closure is not there

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8663313.
The Cadent gas works at Billing Road/Rushmere Road/Park Avenue South are supposed to have comprehensive signage in place including diversion signs, clear signage stating that there is access only on Park Avenue South, signage indicating that the road is open to cycles. The proposed signage is attached. I have checked the signage at Park Avenue South / Wellingborough Road, King Edward Road , Landcross Drive and none of the proposed signage is in place. In some cases there is some limited signage but it is inadequate and causing lots of vehicles to enter Park Avenue South and U Turn at the bottom of the street, including a police car responding to an emergency. SRL should fix this issue urgently.
