Metre long deep pothole on roundabout

Metre long pothole on roundabout opposite the entrance to Northampton Academy. The deep pothole is the width of a car tyre, resulting in damage to wheels and also causing drivers to swerve on the roundabout resulting in collisions. Failure to promptly repair this pothole is likely to result in injury to children attending the school.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
