3rd pothole left unrepaired within metres of two potholes repaired this morning (13 Jan)

Repairs to potholes just east of the junction of The Knob and Orchard Way, King's Sutton, were carried out this morning (13 January), following multiple reports on this site. On two such reports I mentioned that there were THREE potholes, two of them on the north, east-bound side. The second of these is smaller, but large enough to be a danger to cyclists (I know, having cycled into it in the dark). This third pothole has been left unrepaired. Unacceptable and a ridiculous waste of time and resource.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

  • Missed 3rd pothole. Must have money to waste sending the team back to do a job they could of done while on site.
