Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

The huge pothole on the junction of Chaucer street and kingsley park terrace is so dangerous multiple cars every day are being damaged by this pothole there is nearly accidents every day from people swerving to avoid it It currently measures 1.5mtr x 2.6mtr at its deepest it is 150mm an on average is 100mm deep it needs dealing with as a priority

Road repairs are not done to a high standard this is why we need to report the issues week in week out for the same potholes! You guys are milking the tax payers and providing an awful service!!! Time for change - we the public have had enough of this mess!!!

The council must prioritise repairs based on available budget, workforce capacity, and the need to address the most safety critical defects first. All decisions are guided by the Highway Inspection Manual, which sets out how road defects are assessed and the timescales for repair. This ensures that resources are used responsibly and that the highest risk issues, such as those posing a danger to road users, are dealt with as quickly as possible while lower risk defects are scheduled appropriately within the limits of available funding. -
POOR - how can we live like this??? We report issues and the work is done to a bare minimum standard. The hole is sinking again!!!
