Collapsed Kerb again

You have recently refitted 3 collapsed kerbs but yet again whoever did the repair has not done this correctly like the previous 4 times and the next kerb stone along has now fallen out. 2 years and 5 repairs to the same section. Can you confirm that we as taxpayers are not paying for this continual rectification?

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

    The problem is getting worse, another kerb stone, one you refitted a few weeks ago has also fallen out. repairs now ongoing on and off for over 2 years, well outside your 28 days!!
