Phasing Too Long

Reported via desktop in the Request Timing Review category anonymously at 11:21, Wednesday 14 January 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8685715.

Please explain why you consider no problem at this junction as the lights take 3 to 4 minutes to change when ALL OTHER lights around this junction in each direction change in about 1 minute? Cars regularly creep forward and jump the red light because they think the lights are faulty. This is certainly the case around commuting times in to Northampton either side of 7am. I look forward to your reasoning for this, thank you

  • I have reported this before and including this one have TWICE been told of no problem, but by questioning again the timings at this junction a fault has now been found, so would ask that at the same time of fixing the lights the 'massive' pot hole on the inside lane be fixed as is so big/deep it will unseat a biker/scooter and cause damage to car wheels..........thank you
