Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Andrew Harvey at 07:20, Friday 16 January 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8698668.

Very large set of pot holes from Bucknell Woods to Grange Farm turning. Last night on 15/1/2026 i counted 4 cars that had stopped on the road with flat tyres. VERY DANGEROUS for oncoming traffic especially with added traffic from A43 contraflow. Head on or side on collision becoming likely. Please assess this stretch of road.

  • There are still cars abandoned by the side of the road having had blow outs. One is at the entrance to Grange Farm. The pot hole repairs carried out on Thursday seem to be temporary a likely to open up again in the coming weeks. The stretch of road still has parts where the road is falling away into the verge causing cars to swerve or brake hard causing delays and dangerous situations

  • The temporary fix has already broken and the road continues to be dangerous. Another example of poor workmanship and a road that is likely to cause a head on collision or heavy braking especially in the dark or in rush hour.
