Chevron sign on roundabout fallen over

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8718664.

I can’t take a photo safely but this chevron sign has been hit and is fallen over almost onto the road.

  • Huge pothole in the outside lane which cannot be avoided. This has caused a bulge in my tyre and needs to be replaced!!! This is the second time a pothole at sixfields has caused a blowout

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

  • It is now Friday, 30th January 2026, this chevron sign on the roundabout, which is long and metal is almost lying on the road going around the roundabout, I would suggest this is in a very dangerous position and needs to be, at the very least, moved to a safe place as a matter of some urgency. Thank you.
