Huge deep potholes -danger to life

Road between halse and greatworth going towards greatworth a huge deep hole on the left of the road just over the hill ..so it is a bad surprise when you get there if there is something coming in the other direction as cant afford it so have to brake suddenly which is a problem for anyone following - it has been there a while and gradually become worse plus the edges of the roads between halse and greatworth have many more due to the huge amount of heavy lorries using these roads - too wide for the roads so grinding up the verges and causing huge drops off the edge of road all along to greatworth turn again causing a danger to life as people try to avoid (and so do lorries now) by driving down the middle of the road or swerving at last minute. its going to cause an accident and a lot of damage to road users

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
