3 large potholes

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8724140.

3 potholes roughly 1 to 1.5 feet in diameter down to within the hardcore layer in excess of 10cm deep. Has caused multiple punctures/cracked alloy wheels. Present since heavy rain on 15th January

  • Investigation: Completed (Temporary Repair Completed - A permanent repair will be carried out in the next 28 days.), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

  • This has opened up again. Damaging the alloy on my new car!! Not impressed. You temp fixed 2 of the 5 big ones yesterday

  • Two temporary repairs not been fully repaired at the time other permanent repairs were carried out (within 3 metres of the temporary repairs which are now opening up again and new pothole has opened up on the east bound side of the carriageway approx 40cm across and 10 cm plus deep which again was already opened up at the time other permanent repairs were carried out last week within a few metres of this new pothole. Worrying that these issues are being overlooked by workers who are they physically there making other repairs
