Half a foot deep pothole has caused £1370 damage to my car.

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8808490.
So I had a student on test on Thursday the 29th at 8:57am and they went on port road nn56nl they had a car coming towards them they squeezed over slightly as there’s a pinch point and a slight bend and they hit the deepest pot hole on the road and has had broke my driveshaft and a lot of other damage (lower arms, steering rods, gear box is affected due to how the driveshaft is connected to the engine plus all the labour) I have an invoice from the garage which hopefully I can include if not please ask. As they were in test and not wanting to make any mistakes on there test they thought they was doing the right thing rather than hitting the oncoming car they moved into the pot hole as she didn’t realise how deep it was, and the force of hitting the really deep pothole has caused all the damage.
