Very large and deep sinking pothole
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8888251.
I have incurred costs of nearly £500 because of this particular pothole. This is the second incident in the space of a few months where I have had to pay nearly £500 each time because of the terrible potholes around at the moment. It is very large and very deep and difficult to see in the dark especially when there is oncoming traffic, as there is no way of avoiding it. There are many others that I can see that have reported this issue so it’s surprising it’s not yet been fixed.

From Daventry to Northampton the A45 is a shambles state of the road is disgusting. Get it fixed ASAP.

Investigation: Completed (Temporary Repair Completed - A permanent repair will be carried out in the next 28 days.) - We can confirm that we have already been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. The expected completion date for these works will be 08/02/27
