No grit in bin
Reported via mobile in the Grit Bin - empty/refill category anonymously at 17:50, Wednesday 18 February 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8949526.
I previously reported that the bin was water logged and all the grit had solidified. So you can out, tipped the water out, put an inch of new grit onto the solid, wet, unusable grit and left. So not sure how you can consider the report completed. What are we supposed to do when Hinton Road becomes icy and cars get stuck on it, and they DO, I have lived here for 20 years and seen it,have pushed cars and gritted the road from the bin many times. Please replace the solid, useless grit.
