Multiple giant potholes
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 17:05, Wednesday 18 February 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8949601.
Multiple giant pot holes on the enterance and exit of Tesco, and the mini round about. A older gentleman tripped this afternoon at 3pm in one of the giant pot hole while crossing the road coming from Tesco walking towards the bus station. I had to put my hazards on, and exit my car in order to help him up and collect his belongings from the middle of the road. The poor guy was visibly distraught, and in pain, if this was a much more fragile person, it could have ended up with broken bones or a hospital visit. Completely unacceptable for the road to be in this state, especially at a crossing. It has been like this for a while, where cars are having to dodge the potholes upon entering and exiting Tesco or the bus station, alongside taxi’s parking up the kerb in the taxi station, making it almost impossible to cross the road safely, or even navigate around the potholes, pedestrians, and the poorly parked taxi’s. They need sorting ASAP, before someone gets seriously hurt.
