Huge hole

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 16:38, Thursday 19 February 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8957333.

There were highway maintenance here this morning repairing potholes. Not sure if they had their eyes closed or not, but they missed this absolute monster of a pothole! This needs sorting ASAP

  • Pothole is getting worse and needs urgent repair. Why was this not fixed when the contractors were there last week fixing the pothole opposite!!!

  • This is a huge pothole and will cause car damage if driven over. It is an accident waiting to happen and needs sorting asap. Why has this not even been looked at yet!

  • Weirdly this hole isn't getting smaller the longer it's left unfixed, instead it's getting bigger and more dangerous. Cars are now crossing into the opposite lane to avoid it and the hole has got deeper in the last 3 weeks. I'd estimate from swerving around it that it's about 4 inches deep now
