Investigating
Multiple potholes on Rugby Road, Lilbourne
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Carolyn Church-Robertson at 20:19, Sunday 1 March 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9024200.
There are a total of 23 potholes along the Rugby Road between Lilbourne Village and the A5 going out of the village towards the A5. Many of these potholes are very large and extremely dangerous. There is a maximum number of potholes I am able to upload but I have photos and 'what three words' for ALL 23 potholes, which I am happy to send separately. ALL these potholes are large and dangerous. Many villagers have sustained considerable costly damage to their cars as a result of these. I would be happy to discuss this or meet with somebody from the council to show the location of all potholes, starting from the national speed limit sign outside the village up to the A5 junction. Just today there was one car which had to be abandoned near the A5 junction due to the considerable damage sustained to the wheel.
