8 or 9 potholes and worn out carriageway
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9087229.
The issue with this stretch of road is getting considerable worse - the carriageway is most non existent for about 12m - 3 months since it was reported and there is no way that this area will survive another 3 months wait. People have driven over my lawns to avoid. With 7 businesses operating out of this road - it is busy enough and the repair needs to be brought forward

Having spoken to your employee today I understand that the report I made 12/12/25 8539329 which stated that a repair would be carried out within 6 months has been closed and has mysteriously lost off the system - please see above photo. You have now issued another Ref 9087229 stating it will be another 6 months before the road is fixed. This is ridiculous and to be honest looks distinctly like someone is not being honest with the reporting. The road as a whole is worn out but there are also several major potholes/craters. If this issue is not addressed more urgently I will forward a complaint to the MP. I would suggest you also investigate why the first report has been closed and why no record appears on your system!! It does look like that the original report has been closed despite road not being repaired and any information with regards to this matter removed. You were advised that it was not a private road and that is when you issue a repair completion date of before June 2026!

Of the 8 potholes reported only 1 has been filled in (completed 20/3/26) I cant tell from your response if you think these issues are now closed? The repair crew said they would return today 23/3/26 - they didnt! The surveyor stated all the potholes would be repaired - not just the first one they got to - seems a complete waste of money to turn up to repair just 1 at a time when they are only meters apart!

It is unbelievable that I am, yet again , having to contact you about the condition of this stretch of road where 7/8 potholes exist within 10m of each other. Your report stated that the repairs would take place on or before 28/3/26 - a crew turned up and repaired just 1 of the potholes before leaving. These potholes are getting worse and I just cant understand your system whereby it was first report in December 2025 and despite 3 surveyor visits and 1 team of pothole repair crew , 90% of the work still remains outstanding and the expected repair completion date has now passed. Please will you attend to this matter before I raise the issue yet again with my MP

8 potholes have been filled, but the road is still very rough as the carriageway is all but worn out. The temporary fix has stopped damage to wheels but traffic continues to drive on my lawns to avoid the worn out road
