Very long grass and weeds along A5076 Upton Way

The grass alongside the whole length of Upton Way hadn’t been cut since last August and is a real mess of coarse grass and weeds. Looks awful and gives terrible impression of the thousands of cars passing through everyday. Looking at the type of growth is not much good for wildlife either.

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry. The grass on Upton Way is scheduled to be cut as part of the verge mowing programme, with works expected to be completed by 20/05/2026.
