Part of the carriageway is sinking creating a growing ridge in the centre of the road which is now striking the underside of passing vehicles.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - The location has been assessed and a pre-emptive defect has been raised. This means that the location does not currently meet the criteria as an urgent safety defect. However, the repair will be scheduled to be completed alongside other maintenance works in the local vicinity. We will continue to monitor the condition as part of our routine highway inspection schedule. Should you notice the defect worsening, please inform us by rasing a new enquiry
