70-90mm deep pothole located on the junction of Borough Road and Boundary Road
Reported via iOS in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:53, Friday 15 May 2026
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9459499.
Large pothole approximately 70–90mm deep with sharp broken asphalt edges. Located on/near the junction shown in attached photos. The defect was filled with standing water at the time it was struck, making the depth impossible to judge and effectively concealing the hazard. The pothole caused immediate sidewall tyre damage requiring tyre replacement. Presents a serious hazard to vehicles, cyclists and motorcyclists due to its depth, sharp edge profile and concealed nature when filled with water. Multiple photos attached including measurements.
