• Traffic lights at Roverside roundabout A43 not working. Specifically not changing. Causing chaos Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 1st evening rush hour.

• Still terrible delays due to timing of lights. Never used to be as bad as this. Something must have changed in last week or so.

• The queues at the lights are really bad still. I went through at 7:10am and it took me 10 minutes to get through them when I normally go straight across without any queues at this time of morning.

• Hi Could you please ask your traffic light engineers to urgently look at the A45 / A43 Riverside traffic lights not operating correctly. It is causing long tail backs on the A43 at all times of the day and causing people in this hot weather a lot of frustration PLEASE DO SOMETHING NOW Mr R James

  11th July 2026 Saturday, the synchronising of these lights is completely wrong the traffic was stacked back to Weston-favell centre and this was about 11am which is not a busy time , they have been like that all week .As can be seen by the amount of reports on it that have been logged & all you get is we are investigating, when will you actually get this addressed. It would be a good idea to actually come out of your air conditioned office & see for yourself the issue !!

• Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry. This site is monitored daily via CCTV to assess traffic conditions and signal performance. Our observations indicate that traffic levels at this location are currently higher than usual due to drivers diverting away from other nearby roadworks. The traffic signal equipment at this site is due for renewal as part of a planned upgrade programme. In the meantime, we are reviewing the current signal timings and are investigating whether adjustments can be made to improve traffic flow on Saturday mornings ahead of the renewal works. We will continue to monitor the site to ensure the signals operate as effectively as possible until the upgrade takes place.
