This sign has been broken and non-functional for several years now, despite previous reports nothing has been done.

  • Sign was removed by engineers last Thursday morning, I had the opportunity to speak with the lead engineer who stated that this sign was a very old style and had completely failed and could not be fixed.

They also stated that the sign had been mounted too low and had been a safety concern for pedestrians hitting their heads on the bottom of it.

Was informed that a request for a new pole and new style electronic school crossing sign would be submitted to replace this faild one and to ensure that the new one could be mounted at a safe height for pedestrians and improve visibility of the sign for approaching vehicles.

Can an update be provided as to when a new style modern school / pedestrian crossing electronic sign will be installed at this location?
