Bonds Jewellers 41/43 St Giles Street Northampton

Reported via desktop in the Safety Bollard - Damaged/Missing category anonymously at 08:48, Tuesday 7 July 2026

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 9745535.

On several occasions the lorries are mounting the kerb and parking across the path, this is a real danger to the public, only last week our blind was struck from the side and damaged, a member of the public was actually underneath and jumped out of the way.

I feel the council play some part in this as the bollard was never replayed the last time it was knocked over, also the loading bay road floor sign has faded so much and people don't see it and subsequently park there, where the lorries need to go.

Both issues need re dressing asap before a real accident occurs.
