• Anglian Water have identified an issue with the stop tap and have arranged a repair, but its the surrounding path that is too low, water pools from the faulty stop tap but when this is repaired rain water will still pool around the area causing exactly the same issue of pedestrians avoiding the water and mud and enter the road on a blind bend. The path area around the stop tap needs building up to prevent water pooling. On pavement opposite Royal Oak Mews Main Road Middleton Cheney the pavement dips and there is constant water and mud accumulation causing pedestrians, dog walkers and prams to enter the road on a blind bend to negotiate the mud.
